Description
The adventure starts about 1 ½ hours northwest of Valencia, were the closest international airport is located. The area lays between 800 and 2.020 meters, has mountain peaks of up to 2.020 meters and is twice the size of Belgium with some areas having a population density of less than 1 inhabitant per km². Discover this little known beautiful area of Spain with us on endless gravel roads, through gorges, along mountain ridges and through river beds.
The first three days our base will be a more than 200 year old Masía (isolated old Spanish house) located on the 200 hectare large training and test grounds for many Dakar rally teams. We use this huge playground to reactivate our offroad skills and to discover the surrounding mountains including visiting the highest village in Spain.
The third riding day takes us offroad further northwest stopping in one of the most beautiful villages in Spain, Albarracín and many other ruins of the Romans. Our second base for next three riding days will be in a very deserted area, giving us the chance to explore and enjoy undisturbed offroad ride. The evenings we will spent by the fire, after enjoying traditional Spanish cuisine.
